Fury Wants Trump for Ringwalk

Tyson Fury plans to invite Donald Trump to accompany him on his ringwalk for his long-awaited fight with Anthony Joshua.

Fury and Joshua, both former heavyweight world champions, will finally face each other on December 11 in Cardiff after years as rivals. The conclusion of lengthy and challenging negotiations for the all-British clash was marked by a press conference this week.

Fury now wants the former US President, Donald Trump, to join his procession into the 80,000-capacity Principality Stadium.

Fury, who previously met Trump at the UFC event at the White House in June, stated, "I'll definitely make that offer to my old buddy, old pal, and we'll see if he's available. Probably unlikely because of the situation he's in at the moment, being the President of the United States."

'Warm-up for Usyk'

Fury maintains that his bout with Joshua serves as preparation for his primary objective: a third fight against Oleksandr Usyk, who has already defeated him twice.

"I don't have any intention of retiring after Joshua. I'm using this bum as a warm-up for Usyk," Fury said. "This is a bum to me, and I can guarantee that on the night when I knock him spark out, he won't know what time it is. And then I want the rabbit [Usyk] in New York City."

"This year will be my most active since 2018. This will be my third fight; I'm match fit. I've completed 12 rounds with Arslanbek Makhmudov, a 6ft 8in opponent, and seven rounds with another 6ft 7in giant, Mariusz Wach. Then I'm going to do whatever rounds are necessary with AJ, who is another 6ft 6in guy."

"Let's be direct. I'm performing at my best right now. I feel fantastic. I'm 38 years young."
